Professor Sarah Main is Elsevier’s Vice President for the UK in Academia and Government. She plays a pivotal role in enhancing the UK environment for science and research for academia, industry, and government.

For ten years, Professor Main was the Executive Director of the Campaign for Science and Engineering (CaSE), the UK’s leading independent advocate for science and engineering. She worked at the interface between science and government, bringing evidence-led insights from the science, research and innovation sector to inform policy-making on issues on the national agenda from economics to immigration, and latterly on public insights into R&D through the groundbreaking Discovery Decade program.

Heesang Jeon
Product Director, Elsevier
Heesang is Product Director at Elsevier, where he leads Mendeley and is responsible for a key area of LeapSpace, working on AI-powered products for research workflows and knowledge management. He has also contributed to SciVal, shaping strategies to improve research productivity through data-driven insights. He holds a PhD in Economics.

Agnieszka Podrazik
Deputy Director of the Main Library, AGH University of Krakow
Agnieszka Podrazik is the Deputy Director of the Main Library at the AGH University of Krakow, one of Poland’s largest and most prestigious technical universities. Throughout her career at the institution, she has specialized in special collections, with a particular focus on standard and patent information. Currently, as Deputy Director, she drives the library’s strategic development, overseeing its institutional image and the promotion of advanced academic services.

In her executive role, Agnieszka manages a comprehensive portfolio of electronic resources, ensuring the strategic selection of scientific databases to provide the university community with premier solutions in scientific and technical information. She is a recognized specialist in IP information and advanced patent database searching; due to her extensive expertise, she serves as a trainer for the European Patent Office (EPO) within the PATLIB network. Agnieszka is also deeply passionate about the integration of AI in information management, focusing on the responsible implementation of AI tools to support innovation and enhance information literacy in the academic environment.
