Dr. Michelle Hutnik is the Director of Research Analytics within the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research at Pennsylvania State University, a position she has held since 2016. Her primary responsibilities include formalizing and strengthening the university’s ability to identify and showcase its research strengths and performance.

Previously, Dr. Hutnik was the Medical Science Team Leader at the Angiogenesis Foundation in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she was responsible for analyzing science, technology and business related information in various medical indications and nutrition. Her professional experience also includes biotechnology and pharmaceutical market research and strategic planning, with an emphasis on competitive analysis for investor relations, marketing, technology assessment and potential acquisitions.

Soraya Khaja

With expertise in system management, she ensures data integrity and delivers high-quality reports and solutions to leadership for the university's research endeavors. Overseeing a significant volume of public-facing faculty profiles and publications, Soraya has ensured the data integrity of research faculty, leading to a substantial enhancement in user experience for thousands of monthly visitors.

Soraya's prior roles encompassed website design, development and accessibility, demonstrating a commitment to compliance and excellence in all endeavors.
