Dr. Gianluca Coppola

Gianluca Coppola, MD, PhD, is associate professor of Neurology at Sapienza University of Rome. He is Co-chair of the Membership Committee of the International Headache Society, member of the Board at Large of the European Headache Federation and of the Study Center of the Italian Society for the Study of Headache. His research interests include the use of electrophysiology and neuroimaging techniques to understand primary headaches pathophysiology.

Dr. Jessica Ailani

Dr. Ailani is the Director of the Medstar Georgetown Headache Center, and Professor of Clinical Neurology at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Ailani completed her Neurology training at NYU in New York, NY and a headache fellowship at the Jefferson Headache Center in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Ailani is on the board of the American Headache Society as Treasurer and is involved in the practice management and leadership development committee. She is an advisor to the National Headache Foundation. She is dedicated to improving the care provided to patients with headache disorders.

Dr. Mohab Ibrahim
Professor, University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, USA
Dr. Mohab Ibrahim earned his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry with a minor in mathematics while participating in the Undergraduate Biology Research Program at the University of Arizona. After completing his training, Dr. Ibrahim returned to the University of Arizona, where he is now a tenured professor of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology, and Neurosurgery. He is the director of the chronic pain clinic, the chronic pain fellowship at the Banner Medical Center-University of Arizona, and the associate medical director of the Center for Comprehensive Pain and Addiction. Dr. Ibrahim is also a pain physician at the Southern Arizona Veteran Affairs Health Care System. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ibrahim has an active research laboratory addressing missing gaps in our knowledge about chronic pain with several emphases, including Photobiomodulation. He is currently funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, and the Veteran Affairs Administration.
