Michael Deighton, is a Vice President of Operations, at Kent. Kent is a leading Energy Company, specializing in delivering projects within the Energy Sector and leading the way in innovating Energy Transition solutions. He has held various senior operations roles, and currently heads up Kent’s Global Centre of Excellence, driving Operational Excellence through the deployment of innovative and digital solutions. Michael earned an Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Newcastle, an MBA from Teesside Business School, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in the UK. Michael is a published author with Elsevier from 2016, “Facilities Integrity Management, Effective Principles and Practices for the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industries” and is currently working on his second book with Elsevier due to be published in 2023, entitled “The Now Imperative, Gearing up for the greatest challenge since the discovery of oil”
