About
Join us as we welcome Alan Rose, Keith Legg, Corrdesa, Siva Palani, and Julio Mendez from Corrdesa LLC, located in Tyrone, GA.

Why bother with computational corrosion analysis? Globally, corrosion costs about 4% of gross domestic product, apart from its evident impact on safety. But, according to recent estimates by the US Navy, a better design can reduce corrosion costs by 40%.

With the newly released MIL-STD-889, we are experiencing a paradigm shift in galvanic compatibility of electrically conductive materials in that galvanic corrosion will no longer be estimated using a table of electric potentials. Instead, galvanic current calculations will be made based on a curated material database using a consistent methodology defined in the specification. Our speakers from the Corrdesa team will discuss the future of galvanic corrosion prediction and simulation.

What You'll Learn
The following topics will be discussed during this session:
• The future of Galvanic Corrosion Prediction and how it can impact your business.
• Introduction to the emerging discipline of computational corrosion simulation.
• Evolution of galvanic corrosion estimation and updated requirements.
• Corrosion Djinn® technology demonstrated for MIL-STD-889D compliant analysis
