Dr. David C. Weindorf currently serves as Vice President for Research and Innovation at Central Michigan University (CMU). A soil scientist and Fulbright scholar with >200 peer reviewed research publications, Dr. Weindorf has worked in 30 different countries as an academician. Today he leads CMU’s $26 m research enterprise inclusive of a highly respected medical school with multiple clinical affiliations throughout Michigan. Dr. Weindorf integrated advanced research analytics at CMU to inform research enterprise management and optimize its performance. Now starting his fourth year as Vice President, CMU has set multiple records for grantsmanship, scholarly output, impact, and international engagement. In this webinar, Dr. Weindorf will discuss the many ways he uses research analytics from guiding strategic investments and promoting CMU’s faculty for laudations to communicating CMU’s research and creative scholarship to the public.
