Semira Dautovic
Director
Semira Dautovic is the Director of Research Performance and Development at Macquarie University. She graduated with a BSc and MBA at Macquarie University. She has extensive experience in research management including responsibility for national research assessment submissions such as Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) and Engagement and Impact (EI) as well as all aspects of research reporting for operational and strategic purposes. She is a member of various research committees and current member of the Australian Persistent Identifier Strategy Taskforce. She is a professional research manager with achievements including the successful implementation of multiple IT projects (including PURE, Infonetica, ServiceNow, Onit, systems, etc.) and leading various teams including Post-Award, Reporting, Data and System, etc.

James Toon
Solution Lead and Senior Product Manager
James is a senior product manager in the Pure team with responsibility for the Award Management Module and Pure Community Modules.

James has been with Elsevier for the past 7 years working as a customer consultant, solution lead and product manager. He has over 13 years of hands on experience of Pure having previously worked as a Research Information Systems Manager in the University sector.
