Dr Ruomu Tan is a senior scientist in ABB Corporate Research Center Germany. She received the PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, UK, the M.Sc. degree in Process Control from University of Alberta, Canada and the B.Eng. degree in Automation from Zhejiang University, China. Ruomu’s research interests include data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence and their application to control and optimization of industrial processes. In particular, her work aims to bridge the gap between advanced AI-driven solutions and real-world challenges.
