Dr. Yan Li currently serves as Deputy Editor of Matter & Light and a Senior Scientific Editor at Matter. He received his bachelor's degree from Tianjin University and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Tsinghua University. Later, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Houston and then Wageningen University. Prior to joining Cell Press, he worked at Wiley, with over 10 years of experience as a journal editor.
