Graduated as a Chemist from Novosibirsk State University. Completed PhD in Chemical Reaction Engineering at the University of Bath in 2000. Academic career at Universities of Bath (00-09), Warwick (09-13) and Cambridge (13-..). Adjunct Professor at National University of Singapore. Co-Director of Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore and a Director of Cambridge Innovation Centre in Digital Molecular Technologies. Launched CDI in 2020 with Zhen Guo and Jana Weber on the basis of multiple projects within research collaboration network of RELX (Reaxys).
